Although Global Plastic Technologies (GPT), Inc. may be a new name in the industry, it is actually a merger of two companies with well-established roots and long standing history's in this region. The two companies, TRC Manufacturing and Enjex USA, decided to combine forces in 2005 to take advantage of some very specific, separate and unique strengths that each company possessed. By so doing Global elevated its capabilities, performance and resources to a far greater level in a much shorter period of time than either company could have otherwise achieved on its own.

While our core discipline is injection molding, Global also provides many value-added services that include design, models and prototypes, tool build, decorating, assembly, pack-out and complete fulfillment. We do this utilizing our in-house resources as well as outside resources and many "strategic alliances". Global can provide our customers with "total program management" that can compress critical time lines, reduce overall costs and minimize many of the start-up problems that can plague new product or program development and introduction.

While Global's history (both Enjex and TRC) was almost exclusive to the floor care industry, our focus for the future is much more diversified. Today, in addition to the floor care industry, Global supplies products to automotive OEM, automotive aftermarket, the seating industry, plumbing, commercial transportation, and a variety of consumer products.

Global Plastic Technologies is located in Middlefield OH in the heart of rural Northeast Ohio. Our current facility is 45,000 sq ft on 10 acres with 33 injection molding presses ranging from 28 ton to 720 ton with ancillary and auxiliary equipment to support these machines and the many value-added operations we can provide.

Additionally, we are also ISO 9001:2000 certified and possess a very strong infrastructure to support the demand we place upon ourselves to produce products of the highest quality possible. This focus on quality is combined with a system for continuous improvement that empowers and challenges our employees to never accept anything less than superior results.
